CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS
Meet & Explore — Last updated: 16 September 2026
1. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
Meet & Explore does not tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. It is forbidden to post, share, request or link to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and to use the app to groom, sexualise, sextort, traffic or otherwise exploit or endanger a child. This applies to profiles, photos, events, groups, event chats and private messages.
2. The app is for adults only
You must be 18 or older to use Meet & Explore.
- Every account gives a date of birth at sign-up. Our servers reject any date of birth under 18; this check does not rely on the app alone.
- When a member verifies their identity with a government ID, an ID showing an age under 18 suspends the account and opens a review by our team.
- Any member can report a profile as an underage user.
3. Reporting in the app
Members can report any profile, including the sender of a private or event chat message, as well as any event, group or event chat. Reports go to our moderation team, who review them with the reported content and the account’s report history. Members can also block another member at any time.
You can also report a child safety concern by email to support@meetandexplore.com. Please describe what you saw and where, without attaching or forwarding any abusive image.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first: 112 anywhere in the EU, 17 in France.
4. What we do when we find CSAE
- We remove the content and ban the account responsible, without prior warning.
- We preserve the information required by law for investigators.
- We report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the competent authorities: in France through PHAROS (internet-signalement.gouv.fr), and to the relevant national authority or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where it applies.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests made under applicable law.
5. Compliance
Meet & Explore complies with the child safety laws that apply to it, including French and European Union law and Google Play’s child safety standards policy.
6. Child safety contact
Our designated point of contact for child safety and CSAM prevention can be reached at support@meetandexplore.com.
